Curated allows users to book tours of wedding venues
online and maximize their wedding plans into one seamless system.

When it comes to weddings, users often spend the majority of their budget on the venue. The user will often make several attempts and spend enormous amount of time to find the perfect venue before saying yes. Seasonal dates, busy schedules, and global pandemics often make it difficult to tour the location before the user can make a decision. Having to explore many venues outside one’s home can be costly, time consuming, and sometimes unobtainable due to location.
Create an app and responsive website that allows a user to book in-person and/or virtual tours of venues so weddings can be planned stressed free and venue owners can maximize their business.

I felt the best way to approach this was to interview those who have been or plan to get married. My assumptions however stalled my user research because venues are used for other experiences such as birthday parties, work promotions, holidays, and more. People need venues to celebrate, to take a break from the monotony so its important to be inclusive of all the potential bookings even if curaed plans to be just weddings in Phase 1. Other experiences wiill be useful to the final design. I interviewed several people with different backgrounds such as those going to school, those with large families, and those with full-time jobs.
A simple guide to creating Curated’s identity. I wanted colors and characters to reflect a more charming and relaxing process through soft and simplistic colors with a touch of warmth.
A streamlined platform allows users to have a huge portion of their wedding plans covered. Users can stress less and venue owners can maximize their business.
The goal is to have the user browse wedding venues in their desired destination so they can book in-person or virtual tours on their own time.
There are wedding venues that offer more than just their location for wedding arragnements. Flowers, decor, bar service, DJ/Live music, and more can be presented to the user to add into their booking to dicscuss during their tour and potentiallly finalize.
